I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to the United States as an exchange student in my 10th grade of High School. I graduated from Bowen’s Mill Christian Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia in 2001. The medical field has always been a personal interest of mine since I was a child. After High School I attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where I graduated with my Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2004 and became a licensed Registered Nurse. I continued my education at Valdosta State University where I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2007. I was honored to be invited to be a distinguished member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. In 2011 I decided to further my education as a Nurse Practitioner through the University of South Alabama. In May 2014 I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in multiple areas of nursing including Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Nursing Administration and Vascular Nursing. I am a proud husband of eight years to my wife Greter and the father of a 1 yr. old son. I enjoy working with my wonderful staff and together we take pride in providing the most excellent care to our patients and their families.

My favorite part of my job as a medical assistant is the personal interaction with our patients and the relationships that we’ve developed over the years. We have an exceptional team at our office, and it is truly a privilege to work with each member. We are a big Family! My husband’s name is Christian and we have two wonderful daughters Amy and Abby. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.

he reason I became a Medical Assistant was primarily for patient care and education. Not realizing this would be more rewarding than I ever imagined. The bond I have with our patients and co-workers has been like family. I love what I do; I enjoy the versatility of medical assisting. I can contribute to the way the office operates. I especially like working directly with patients. Working with patients that I absolutely adore motivates me to provide excellent care. My personal interest in fitness and proper nutrition has helped me with patient education along with providing tips to a healthier life-style. In my spare time In enjoy going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

As a Medical Assistant, I like knowing that I contribute to a person’s overall health in a positive way. I do this not only through their routine checkups, but also by educating each person individually based on their life style and needs. I love the opportunity to meet new people and create not only a professional relationship but also personal friendships with our patients and their families. It is truly a pleasure working at Baker Family Medicine, with great co-workers in a family like environment.
